Welcome back Team Switchback and Team RAAM supporters!
For 2011, Team Switchback has been renamed Team RAAM, to reflect the team’s commitment to participating in ultra-cycling events, such as the Race Across America and the Race Across the West.
This year Team RAAM is supporting the Wounded Warrior Project, a not-for-profit organization that helps wounded soldiers returning from service overseas in Afghanistan, Iraq and all over the world.
Our troops have volunteered their blood and treasure for our benefit and the benefit of people worldwide, and Team RAAM is committed to supporting these courageous women and men.
YOU can help Team RAAM by making a tax-exempt donation to Team RAAM and the Wounded Warrior Project.
There are two ways to donate…by mail (the address will be at the end of this letter) or by Paypal. Please write checks out to the Wounded Warrior Project and mail them to us for collection.
In June, Team RAAM is focused on doing the Race Across the West bicycle race, which is a non-stop road race that travels from Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO. Four racers, Tim Case, Eric Begin, Jeff Magnuson and Andy Claflin will toe the line in the four man division of one of the toughest sporting events in America.
