All Hail Crew Chief Jeff Magnuson!

Eric and I want to introduce our 2010 Team Switchback Race Across the West Crew Chief (say that ten times), Jeff Magnuson.

Jeff was an integral part of Team Strongheart's championship RAAM effort in 2009 and we are psyched to have him on board this year.

Jeff has integrity, is extremely intelligent and has an intuitive sense of what the racers and crew need. He's a great guy and we couldn't think of someone better to be our Chief.

Team Switchback has an amazing group of supporters and so on Saturday, April 17th, we are getting together to fundraise and celebrate the incredible journey that we are embarking on in June.

Yo, Eric Begin and Tim Case are racing their bikes from Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO this June in support of the Southern Exposure Foundation, which builds homes for the impoverished citizens of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Juarez has been called the "murder capital of the world" by the BBC and has a higher per-capita murder rate than L.A. County. Juarez sits a few short miles across the border from El Paso, TX and they need our help.

$10 - $20 suggested donation gets you beer and BBQ food. Bring a side to pass and get your drink on, for a good cause, of course.

We're gonna raise some money for an incredible cause and have fun doing it.
